To foster green and harmonious enterprises, innovate grassroots Party-building mechanisms, elevate Party-building standards, explore new approaches for grassroots Party work, and better leverage the role of grassroots Party organizations in resource integration, the Third Joint Party Branch of Wuchan Geron invited the Second Party Branch of Nantong Haimen Ecological Environment Bureau to hold a "Green Assistance to Enterprises, Joint Co-Construction" Party-building joint activity at the red education base in the employee cultural center on the afternoon of April 10. The event included six key agendas: a production base tour, screening of a red-themed film, renewal of the Party admission oath, signing of a joint co-construction agreement, thematic Party lecture, and a discussion forum.
1. Production Base Tour
Participants first visited Wuchan Geron's steel wire production base, gaining insights into the company's corporate culture, development history, and innovation strategies. At the product exhibition area, Liu Guoqiang, Secretary of the Third Joint Party Branch of Wuchan Geron, introduced the company's production capacity, product advantages, and future plans.
2. Screening of Red-Themed Film
The activity featured a screening of the red-themed micro-film Reunion. Through its gripping narrative, the film reminded attendees to cherish the hard-won happiness of today, forged by the sacrifices of countless revolutionary martyrs.
3. Renewal of Party Admission Oath
Led by Yuan Meiru, Secretary of the Second Party Branch of Haimen Ecological Environment Bureau, all Party members stood before the Party flag and renewed their admission oath, reaffirming their original aspirations.
4. Signing of Joint Co-Construction Agreement
Guided by the principles of "organizational collaboration, Party member interaction, activity coordination, and resource sharing", the two branches officially established a paired co-construction relationship after friendly negotiations. The secretaries of both branches signed the Joint Co-Construction Agreement, aiming to strengthen ties between the Party branches, members, and the public, and to synergize Party-building efforts with business operations for complementary advantages.
5. Thematic Party Lecture
Qian Xiangdong, Deputy Director of the Ecological Environment Bureau, delivered a unique Party lecture. He emphasized the interdependence of the "Two Mountains Theory" (lucid waters and lush mountains as invaluable assets), high-quality development, and high-level environmental protection. He stressed that high-level protection is the cornerstone of high-quality development, and that eco-prioritized, green, and low-carbon development can only be achieved through rigorous environmental safeguards.
6. Discussion Forum
During the forum, the two branches agreed to leverage their respective theoretical and practical strengths through platform co-construction. They will organize technical exchange meetings focused on green development, mutual assistance, and resource sharing, analyze case studies to identify improvable projects, and collaboratively devise solutions to advance shared goals.
This joint Party-building activity significantly enhanced the combat effectiveness, creativity, and cohesion of both Party branches, driving their work performance to new heights and ensuring more impactful Party-building outcomes.
