2022

Geron joined WZGROUP in June, 2022.

2017

Jiangsu Geron Special Steel Wire Co., Ltd. was setted up and officially became the wholly owned subsidiary of Geron Stocks, specializing in the operation of special steel wire business.

2014

Geron Stocks was listed on the SMF board in Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and special steel wire is one of the key development fields.

2009

Geron independently developed and entered the steel wire market for textile equipment (e.g., ring traveller, industrial needle), and innovated new materials to replace imported steel wire for ring traveller, driving revolutionary upgrades in the industry of ring traveller.

2005

Geron started to cooperate with famous steel companies in Germany, Japan and other countries to introduce high-end materials.

2002

Geron expanded the scale of production, built new workshops of bell-type furnaces and wire drawing, took the lead in introducing advanced straight wire drawing machine in the domestic metalware industry, mastered the surface treatment technology for wire rod drawing, and increased the drawing efficiency and quality of steel wire. Geron strategically cooperated with BAOWU to introduce the technology of non-oxidation bell-type furnaces, largely increasing the quality of steel wire balling. The product quality reached up to the leading level of the industry.

Geron invested in steel wire production equipment such as wire drawing machines, and officially started to produce steel wire for metallic card clothing.
