Continuous Learning, Collective Growth | Geron Steel Wire Hosts Liangjian Cloud Online Learning Exchange

On July 18, one month after the launch of the Liangjian Cloud University initiative, Geron Steel Wire held its inaugural online learning exchange session at the Employee Cultural Center. Hosted by Yang Haijia, Manager of the General Administration Department, the event brought together nearly 30 participants from across departments.

Incentive Program Overview

Yang introduced the Liangjian Cloud learning platform's usage guidelines and skill-building strategies, emphasizing the company's Performance-Linked Incentive Program. Designed to foster self-driven learning and enhance workplace competencies, the program offers tangible rewards to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and lay the groundwork for a learning-oriented organization.

"Learning Star" Awards

Hard work yields rewards. Based on June's learning performance rankings, the General Administration Department honored top performers as "Learning Stars", presenting them with commemorative gifts amid celebratory applause.

Participant Insights Sharing

Coordinator Qiu Chunying kicked off the dialogue, sharing her month-long learning journey: "Liangjian Cloud allows us to systematically expand our expertise. I encourage everyone to leverage this platform to unlock their full potential."

Planning Supervisor Jiang Guojun highlighted efficiency gains: "Continuous learning isn't optional—it's how we elevate our capabilities to tackle greater challenges. This platform helps us balance work and study through disciplined time management."

Technology Director Jiang Yamin advocated personalized approaches: "Tailor your learning to fit your workflow. Embrace microlearning—turn fragmented time into opportunities for systematic knowledge absorption."

Deputy Site Supervisor Wang Feng stressed practicality: "True learning lies in application. This platform has directly resolved operational bottlenecks, making my work more efficient and fulfilling."

Participants unanimously praised the platform's flexibility, particularly its on-demand replay feature for complex topics. Some acknowledged initial complacency but pledged to cultivate consistent learning habits moving forward.

Embedding Learning as a Habit

General Manager Cao Zhiqiang underscored the strategic imperative: "Our ethos—Uniting ordinary people, unlocking potential, to achieve extraordinary things—demands a learning-centric culture. Liangjian Cloud equips you to bridge theory with practice, sharpen skills, and drive sustainable growth."

Sustaining Momentum

Yang concluded by announcing a structured study plan for Cao's recommended course, Enterprise Operational Cost Control, and invited proposals for group learning modules. The session closed with a shared commitment to nurture a self-reinforcing cycle of knowledge sharing and collective advancement.
